Coding in Motion
Sphero Robots
Explore programming, robotics, engineering, and cross-curricular learning through responsive robot activities.
What Is Sphero?
Coding that moves.
Sphero robots are programmable educational robots designed to help students explore coding, robotics, engineering, and creative problem-solving. Depending on the model, students can control movement, experiment with sensors, complete coding challenges, and connect robotics to classroom learning.
Students can learn block-based and text-based coding, explore movement and direction, practice computational thinking, solve engineering challenges, and connect coding to math, science, and design.
Sphero’s educator resources position the platform as a flexible tool for classroom and makerspace learning across PK–12.
