Choose the Learning Idea
Select one concept, event, process, text, data set, or vocabulary group that visitors should understand more deeply.
Choose the Visitor Interaction
Decide what the visitor will touch, press, move, select, hear, or observe. Keep the first interaction simple and clear.
Select a Tool Pathway
Use Makey Makey for touch inputs, micro:bit for messages and sensors, or digital tools for clickable and no-hardware versions.
Build One Working Connection
Create one input and one output before expanding. Confirm that the visitor action reliably triggers the intended response.
Add Meaningful Content
Write or record the explanation, question, comparison, sound, image, or data display that supports the learning goal.
Test With a Visitor
Ask another person to use the exhibit without coaching. Revise the instruction, interaction, and explanation based on what they notice.
