What Is Sphero?
Sphero robots are programmable educational robots designed to help students explore coding, robotics, engineering, and creative problem-solving. Depending on the model, students can control movement, experiment with sensors, complete coding challenges, and connect robotics to classroom learning.
With Sphero, students can:
- Learn block-based and text-based coding
- Explore movement, direction, and control
- Practice computational thinking
- Solve robotics and engineering challenges
- Connect coding to math, science, and design
Sphero’s educator resources position the platform as a flexible tool for classroom and makerspace learning across PK–12.
